Designed for
accuracy
Provides a blood pressure waveform with accuracy comparable to a radial arterial line.

Real-time, noninvasive blood
pressure
The Anesthesia Patient Safety Foundation recommends monitors that provide real-time feedback on an intervention’s effectiveness.1

Compatible with most
monitors
Enables you to view continuous, noninvasive blood pressure on your patient monitor.
“Monitoring blood pressure and perfusion during and after surgery is key to reducing major complications after surgery. Anesthesia providers have been waiting for the availability of a simple way to measure continuous blood pressure noninvasively. This is a landmark technology to improve global patient safety.”

Hypotension is a risk, even for
low-risk patients
Even for lower risk patients and procedures, short periods of hypotension may have serious consequences.* A randomized controlled trial demonstrated that patients monitored with a continuous noninvasive finger cuff experienced about 90% less hypotension during noncardiac surgery compared to patients monitored with traditional arm cuffs.**2
The cost of blood pressure inaccuracy
A recent study showed that 50% of intraoperative blood pressure measurements from the traditional arm cuff were inaccurate when compared to intra-arterial blood pressure. Inaccurate blood pressure measurements during surgery can result in missing timely therapeutic interventions.***3
VitaWave™ Plus System

ACCURATE
Provides an accurate arterial waveform
VitaWave™ Plus System provides a blood pressure waveform with accuracy comparable to a radial arterial line, noninvasively. The system automatically calibrates to ensure accurate measurements, even with changes in vascular tone.
During surgery, the traditional arm cuff has been shown to overestimate intraoperative blood pressure in lower ranges and underestimate blood pressure in higher ranges.***3

CONTINUOUS
Quickly detects rapid changes in blood pressure
VitaWave™ Plus System enables you to respond quickly to changes in blood pressure and see continuous measurements in real-time. The Anesthesia Patient Safety foundation recommendations on hemodynamic instability call for implementing continuous noninvasive monitoring.1

COMPATIBLE
Streams to your patient monitor
VitaWave™ Plus System works with any compatible patient monitor. With a portable, compact form factor, VitaWave™ Plus System mounts easily to an IV pole and is simple to setup. Any trained staff member can set it up in under 60 seconds.
